In parallel with development, we focus on content preparation. The goal is to get content into a clear, finalized state before it is added to the site, reducing rework and last-minute changes later in the process.
If your team is handling content production:
We set up a Content Dashboard in Google Docs, and aggregate your existing website content (if available), mapping it as appropriate to the new site map. This gives your team a single place to add and edit copy. We additionally provide high-level guidance for the content of each page.
If our team is providing copywriting services:
If copywriting services are included in your project, we may schedule a session with our copywriter to discuss tone and messaging priorities, and/or request reference materials such as existing content and brand guidelines. We then set up all new content in your Content Dashboard in Google Docs, so you can review and edit and confirm accuracy as needed.
We also prepare meta content (page titles and descriptions) for your review and approval, as well as 301 redirects.
Landslide Responsibilities
