You have indicated that you do not want to use Cloudflare as your DNS provider. While we highly recommend that you take advantage of the free service, we do not currently require it for sites on our servers.
As a reminder, this means your site will not have a Content Delivery Network (CDN) so media will load slightly slower and your site will not have the benefit of DDoS protection. If there is a DDoS attack on your domain, we may be forced to disable your site for as long as it takes to mitigate the issue rather than use the security tools Cloudflare provides.
In addition, you and/or your team will be responsible for adding the records we provide to your DNS for the site launch and managing the DNS long-term.
If you have specific concerns or questions about Cloudflare that we can address, please don't hesitate to ask. We genuinely believe it provides significant value with no downsides. Learn more about why we recommend using Cloudflare.
